Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 25, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of NewEnglandBluestone.com (the “Site”), operated by the Site's owner (“we,” “us”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. The service we provide

The Site provides (a) educational content regarding bluestone and related hardscape topics, and (b) a quote-request and connection service: at your request, we provide material pricing information and may connect your project with independent suppliers and installation professionals serving your area. We are a publisher and referral service — not a contractor, quarry, retailer or party to your transactions. Any purchase of materials or contract for installation is made solely between you and the independent business you engage, and that business bears sole responsibility for its products, pricing, workmanship, scheduling, licensing, insurance and warranties. You are responsible for verifying the credentials of any professional you hire.

2. Pricing and informational content

Prices, ranges, coverage figures and specifications published on the Site are good-faith regional market estimates, current as of their stated dates, provided for general guidance only. They are not offers, quotes or guarantees. Actual pricing depends on site conditions, specifications, access, season, availability and market movement, and is established only in your direct dealings with suppliers or contractors. Construction figures (base depths, code dimensions) reflect common regional practice; your local building code and site conditions govern.

3. Quote submissions

By submitting a quote or contact request, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, that you are at least 18 years old, and you authorize us to use and share the submission as described in the Privacy Policy — including sharing project details with suppliers and professionals as needed to respond. You may withdraw a request at any time by contacting us.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: submit false, misleading or fraudulent information; use the Site to spam, harvest data, or scrape content at scale; attempt to probe, disrupt, overload or compromise the Site or its infrastructure; infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others; or use the Site for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or block access for violations.

5. Intellectual property

All Site content — text, guides, tables, graphics, compiled data, photographs we own or license, and the selection and arrangement thereof — is protected by copyright and other laws and is owned by or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to view the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link (see the citation block on our statistics page); wholesale reproduction, republication or commercial use requires our prior written permission. Trademarks and trade names on the Site may not be used without permission.

6. Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice with the work identified, the Site URL at issue, your contact information, and a good-faith statement of unauthorized use to info@newenglandbluestone.com; we will review and respond appropriately, including removal where warranted.

7. Third-party sites and services

The Site links to and may connect you with third-party websites, suppliers and professionals. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products, services, pricing, conduct or policies. References do not constitute endorsement.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. NOTHING ON THE SITE CONSTITUTES ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURAL, LEGAL, TAX OR FINANCIAL ADVICE. SEE ALSO OUR DISCLAIMER.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY DEALINGS WITH THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS OR CONTRACTORS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY; AND (B) OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your dealings with third parties connected through it.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. You agree that any claim must be filed within one (1) year after it arose, or be permanently barred, to the extent permitted by law.

12. General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version; continued use constitutes acceptance.
